Well Woman Counselling Services was launched in 2007 by Clinical Counsellor Holly Yager (M.Ed., RCC, CCC).
The goal of Well Woman Counselling Services is to provide women and couples with the tools they need to help them cope more effectively with the everyday challenges that life brings, with a special focus on counselling for issues related to reproductive health.
In 2009, Well Woman Counselling Services celebrated the grand opening of its new location on the 14th floor of the Fairmont Medical Building at 750 W. Broadway Avenue. The new office is centrally located in the medical district of the West Broadway corridor in Vancouver BC and boasts beautiful, modern, and comfortable decor and a sunny, south facing view.

Originally from Winnipeg Manitoba, Holly Yager moved to Vancouver British Columbia in 1996 and has worked as a Counsellor since 2001.
Holly Yager is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association .
Holly Yager's education includes a Bachelor of Arts Advanced degree in Psychology from University of Manitoba, and a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from University of British Columbia.
A highlight of her experience at UBC was the opportunity to participate in a clinical counselling internship at the BC Reproductive Mental Health Program, where Holly provided therapy to women, couples, and groups at St. Paul's and BC Women's Hospitals.
Holly currently shares her time between her private practice and her position at BC Women's Hospital where she has been employed as a Counsellor since 2004.
Holly Yager's approach stems from a person-centered and Feminist perspective, where the client is the expert on herself and where there is an open collaboration between client and Counsellor. Holly has a professional, yet relaxed and casual style which allows clients to feel at ease during counselling sessions.
