Holly Yager, Registered clinical Counsellor

Holly Yager is a reproductive health & fertility counsellor in Vancouver, BC with over 15 years of experience. She founded Well Woman Counselling Vancouver in 2007 to assist women going through fertility struggles. Since that time, Holly has expanded her practice to support all genders, and to couples as well as individuals. Holly's primary focus is to support those pursuing assisted conception (IVF, IUI) and third-party reproduction (donation, surrogacy) due to infertility, LGBTQ+ family-building, and single parenting. She provides therapy and support to those who are trying to conceive naturally, are going through miscarriage and recurrent loss, are experiencing perinatal mood & anxiety concerns, and to women with pelvic pain/sexual pain.


In addition to private practice, Holly has been a clinical counsellor at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre since 2004, where she has worked in the areas of reproductive endocrinology & infertility (REI/IVF), chronic pelvic pain & endometriosis (CPP); recurrent pregnancy loss & early pregnancy loss (RPL/EPAC); reproductive & sexual health; and birthing options. Holly also the role of in-house counsellor at the BC Women's Centre for Reproductive Health's Fertility/IVF clinic, was a counsellor at several local women's clinics, and a counselling intern at the BC Reproductive Mental Health Program. Holly is both a BC Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. In addition to providing therapy, Holly facilitates group workshops, presents lectures to professionals, provides professional supervision and consultation, and has co-authored journal articles and contributed to publications on fertility and on chronic pelvic pain.
